About these terms
Matriarchies is a project operated by Crimson Olive LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By using this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. How we use information you share is described in our Privacy Policy. Practical notes on meeting people in person are on our Safety page.
The waitlist
Joining shares your interests so we can build toward circles and experiences near you. It is not a promise that a circle exists yet, or that a place is reserved for you.
Age
This waitlist is meant for people 16 or older joining on their own. We don’t verify age on the form; if we learn someone joined outside that expectation, we may remove the entry.
When Matriarchies hosts circles or activities, younger people may take part with an accompanying adult. Consent to join or form a circle is handled in that activity’s own process, separate from signing up on this waitlist.
Your email
You’re responsible for an email you can open. There isn’t an in-app way to change it. Wrong email? Fix it only corrects a mistaken first join on that same thank-you visit. You may still see the control after other successful submits; it won’t remove an entry that was already on the waitlist. Otherwise: remove the entry and join again, or write hello@matriarchies.com.
Using this site
Please don’t harass anyone, scrape the site, or abuse join, magic-link, or Fix to harm others or to find out who is on the list.
Matriarchies is not a dating service. Don’t use it for unwanted romantic or sexual advances, manipulation, or exploitation. Treat others with respect, online and when people meet offline.
Content
Site copy, brand, and design belong to the Matriarchies project. Please don’t copy the site wholesale.
Availability
We run this with care, as best we can. The waitlist is provided as-is. It may change, pause, or be unavailable at times. We don’t guarantee that a circle, match, or experience will form near you.
In-person meetings
When women meet through connections that began on Matriarchies, those gatherings are organised by the people involved, not by us. We don’t host, supervise, or vet meetups, venues, or attendees yet, and we aren’t a party to arrangements between them.
Choosing to meet someone in person is voluntary and at your own judgement. Take reasonable precautions. More practical guidance is on our Safety page.
To the fullest extent New Mexico law allows, we aren’t liable for injury, loss, or harm arising from in-person meetings between people who connected through Matriarchies.
Leaving and removal
You can leave the waitlist through Manage after a magic link (including scheduling removal). We may remove an entry or limit use of the site if these terms are broken or if we need to protect the service or other people.
Liability
To the fullest extent New Mexico law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disappointment that a circle or experience hasn’t started yet. Our total liability for any claim about this waitlist is limited to what you paid us for it (which is nothing, while joining stays free).
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or waitlist after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. Courts in New Mexico are the home venue for disputes that can’t be resolved another way, to the extent the law allows.
